I recently spent a few nights at Motel Marfa, and it was everything I’d hoped for. Right in the heart of town, the motel captures Marfa’s quirky, artsy charm while making you feel instantly at home. From check-in, the staff went above and beyond. Friendly and welcoming, they shared their favorite spots around town—the kind of insider tips you won’t find in guidebooks. It felt personal, like they genuinely wanted me to get the best out of Marfa. The rooms are simple yet perfectly designed, blending minimalist style with thoughtful touches that reflect Marfa’s unique vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after a day of exploring, it was exactly what I needed. I also appreciated the fast Wi-Fi. Motel Marfa exceeded all my expectations. Whether you’re into art, adventure, or just passing through, this place is a must. I’m already looking forward to my next stay.
If you are deciding where to stay on a solo or couple's trip through town, stay here. Marfa has plenty of places to stay but this is so far my favorite. My room had the radio turned on for light music upon my entrance which was just so peaceful and welcoming. There were 2 complimentary cocktails batched by the nearby Marfa Spirit Co. which was totally unexpected and absolutely appreciated. The amenities were plenty and felt effortless and comfortable. Looking forward to staying again on my next pass through. Thank you kindly.
Had such an amazing stay at Motel Marfa! The space both inside and out is designed so beautifully, it has everything I needed for a weekend getaway, self check in / out is quick and easy, and the location is perfect for walking to nearby restaurants, bars, and coffee! I highly recommend staying here when you find yourself in Far West Texas!
